I was in dilemma on what to choose as primary skill to be a cloud developer, that’s why I couldn’t write anything. Initially I was thinking to go with Full stack developer with React as front-end, Python as backend and AWS as infra. But that means I will be starting my career from square one which is foolishness.
The practical thing to do is learn the technology which is closest to my skill and knowledge and build my profile there. In my previous projects I was working in Java, and I was SRE so I had the chance to learn little bit about Lambda and Serverless.
So I have decided to start with Serverless and AWS lambda first. Currently I am going through AWS lambda free videos to learn more about it. Then next step would be to create and deploy a simple Lambda function using Java.
